Exploring the world of Art

There are many reasons for studying and creating art. Through study, we can learn about the important achievements and talents of famouse artists and their work. We can try to understand what they hoped to communicate to our world. By doing art activities that are related to these artists, we practice the skills of observing, thinking and creating. We can attempt to put ourselves into their minds hears, hands, and eyes. Once we do this we inevitably learn more about ourselves – and that can prove invaluable.”
