Description

This course considers the relationships between racial, ethnic, and gender categories. Focus is placed on stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination and exploitation. Social, social-psychological, historical, and economic theories are employed. Major emphasis is placed upon racial and ethnic relations in the United States. PREREQUISITE: SOSC100 Introduction to Sociology
