Description

Students are introduced to professional concepts of nursing as they relate to the individual, the unit of care and the health organization. These concepts represent the attributes and describe professional nursing practice as a component in the identification of nursing as a healthcare profession. Students will explore how their life experiences, beliefs and values will impact their philosophy of professional nursing practice. PREREQUISITE: Admission to the Nursing Program. CO-REQUISITES: NURS 114 Patient Centered Care I, NURS 116 Practicum I, and NURS 113 Nursing Assessment.
