Description

This course has been designed to prepare the student for the Certified Phlebotomy Examination administered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Topics for review include Anatomy, Terminology, Order of Draw, Safety Guidelines, Patient Care and Venipunture/Capillary puncture techniques. Prereq and/or co-req: The student must have successfully completed or be currently enrolled in ALMA 126, ALMA 161, ALMA 181 and ALMA 182.
