This course requires the student, in the controlled environment of the healthcare facility, to demonstrate the clinical competencies practiced. Students will experience the hands-on application of clinical and professional procedures. This course requires proof of 40 hours of approved phlebotomy experience credited towards certification that must be earned in an approved health care facility that engages in the collection, examination or transportation of materials derived from the human body. PREREQUISITES: ALMA 123 Fundamentals of Phlebotomy and ALMA 132 Phlebotomy Procedures.
