- Education & Academics: 15+ courses taught across HIT, medical assisting, and allied health; textbook reviewer/contributor for Cengage, McGraw-Hill, and Cognella. Implementation of curriculum for standards at the state level and for accreditation.
- Public Health, Leadership, & Advocacy: Published work in the Journal of AHIMA. Presenter at the local, state, and national level over various healthcare topics/issue. Attended the AHIMA Advocacy Summit in 2025 to met with local legislatures over the MATCH IT Act and Advancing Non-Clinical Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Act of 202.5

Description
This course is intended to provide an overall understanding of the interdepartmental dependencies and facility contributors in revenue cycle management (RCM), and how charges become revenue. This course will prepare students for national certification in medical billing. Prerequisites: ALHT 250 Reimbursement Methodologies, or permission of program director.
